How are tree stumps removed?

A stump grinder is a specialized piece of equipment that we utilize. The stump is ground below ground level by the side-to-side motion of the cutter wheel. We use safety security boards around the stump and grinder so wood chips remain in the stump area not all over the yard.

Why is the stump not pulled out?

The reason the stump is not pulled out (excavated) it takes a larger piece of equipment (excavator) causing a large deep hole requiring more backfill resulting in extremely higher costs.

Do you use professional equipment?

Our sophisticated, cutting-edge, and meticulously maintained trucks, trailers, and stump-removal equipment all function to their highest potential while avoiding breakdowns and delays.

Why do stump removal costs vary?

Typically, the size of the stump, as measured across the broadest area at ground level, determines how much it will cost to remove it. What should I consider prior to removing a tree stump?

We will need to be informed of any underground sprinkler system, wiring or obstacles to ensure they are not damaged. Please ensure arrangement are made for children and pets to be away from the stump grinding area, on the day of the appointment.
