This furnace replacement took me back to 1999 era when I started in this trade. Back then, this was all we replaced, the furnaces were almost bigger then the guys replacing it, there’s not too many of these left out there but we had one today. 40+ year old beast, 28”x28” square, 5 feet tall extremely heavy, this furnace was having some major issues where it was burning so hot that it was melting anything plastic that was around it, including the humidifier! It was time for it to go. Replaced with a new Napoleon 9700 series 2 stage variable speed furnace, this furnace was so small in comparison that we could have fit 2 in the old ones place. Such a beautiful piece of equipment, made in Canada with quality. This customer is now ready for many years of comfortable heating with his stylish new furnace.
