How do you access my home?

At Stars A1 Maids, we offer several options for gaining access to your home for our cleaning services. You can choose to leave a key with one of our trusted professionals, or place the key in a safe location at your residence. Alternatively, arrangements can be made to meet our cleaner at your home before they start their work. We aim to provide flexible options to ensure the process is as convenient for you as possible. We understand that entrusting us with access to your home is a big deal. Therefore, we place a high emphasis on security and trust. All keys are securely stored and handled only by our authorized personnel. We respect your home's privacy and assure you that your trust in us is never compromised.

How many cleaners do you send?

Typically, we dispatch one cleaner to handle your home cleaning needs. However, if the cleaning job is extensive and requires more hands, we may send additional cleaners. In such cases, the hours scheduled for work would be divided among the cleaners. This approach ensures that we maintain efficiency while delivering high-quality cleaning services. For larger cleaning jobs, rest assured that we will provide enough manpower to get the job done efficiently. We want to ensure the cleaning process is as smooth and quick as possible, without compromising on quality. Regardless of the number of cleaners we send, our commitment to excellence remains the same.

What forms of payment do you accept?

At Stars A1 Maids, we provide a variety of payment options for your convenience. You can pay us by cheque, cash, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, or Paypal. Please note that a $20.00 NSF Fee will be charged for any returned cheques. If you opt to use a credit card or Paypal, the amount due, along with any additional fees, will be charged after the cleaning service is completed. We aim to make the payment process as straightforward and hassle-free as possible. Our varied payment options are designed to suit your preferences and lifestyle. Whether you prefer digital payments or traditional methods, we've got you covered. Also, our team is always available to answer any questions you may have about billing and payments.

What if I need to cancel a cleaning?

In case you need to cancel or reschedule your cleaning appointment, we require a notice of 48 hours. Failure to do so will result in a $50 cancellation fee per cleaner. This also applies if our cleaner cannot access your home or office due to reasons beyond our control. We understand that plans can change unexpectedly. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we encourage you to do so as early as possible to avoid any cancellation charges. We value your time and appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

Should I tip the cleaner(s)?

While tipping is not mandatory, it is a great way to show appreciation if you're happy with the cleaning service provided. For all services discounted at 50% or above, a gratuity of 15% will be added to the bill. If you're not satisfied with our service, your gratuity will be refunded automatically. If you decide to tip our cleaner, please know that it is greatly appreciated. Your gratuity is a direct reflection of your satisfaction with our service. We strive to exceed your expectations at every cleaning appointment, and your recognition motivates us to continue delivering excellent service.
