D'emblée, ceux qui souhaitent acheter une maison qui a plus de 20 ans doivent supposer que le drainage des fondations a perdu une grande partie de son efficacité. Les constructions d'avant les années 60 n'ont souvent aucune forme de drainage de fondation.
