Lots going on here.. patio doors not flashed properly..nOld deck installed over the siding and not flashed properly.. windows not flashed. Patchy siding.. nnLucky for the floor system there is a 2/4 bearing wall behind this exterior wall helping support the floor or who knows what would have happened..nnWood sidingâ¦ if you have wood siding itâs high maintenance and a headache to work with in these situations..n Still need to order some new cedar siding to rework into the old siding. n take off another row of siding above the new deck to seal new building paper into old tar paper.. nnI want to make sure my portion of work is water tight from top of deck down. But where do we stop? nnWe are starting the new deck frame tomorrow...
