When I flush my toilet, why does it back up in the basement?

Every drain in your house flows through the main sewer. If your sewer is backing up in your basement, it could mean that there is something structurally wrong with your sewer pipe. The best plan of action is to have a camera inspection to determine the root of the problem.

Is this covered by insurance?

In some cases, depending on your insurance plan it will be covered. Our drain technicians will be able to assist with helping to see if you qualify for coverage.

Why is my toilet so noisy when it flushes?

Most or all toilets produce noise when flushed, a sudden increase in volume could indicate that the amount of water going into the tank has been reduced in some way.
