When Zac first decided to change careers and apprentice to become an electrician, he had the vision of working solely in Solar Panel installation. He had a degree in Integrated Resource/ Ecosystems Management from Fleming College and 20 years experience as a bicycle mechanic, with a lifetime of mountain-bike riding and trail-building expertise. His love of the natural world and commitment to the environment meant that Solar Power was an obvious choice for his focus as an electrician.nnZac soon realized that there was great value (and important diversity) in becoming a well-rounded electrician without specializing in any one area so early in his career.nnSince starting Wheeler Electric, Zac’s come full-circle, bringing more and more solar projects on board, partnering regularly with solar installers Fundy Solar and TruSun.
