*Sewer Lateral Reconfigured* Taking a look back at this sewer issue our client had. The existing sewer lateral ran under the floor slab right to the rear of the house, typical for this area and the era the house was built in. A costly and labour intensive process to have it replaced from the rear of the house all the way to the front. We came up with a much better solution and re-routed the lateral to the nearby exterior wall. Once we cored a new hole through the foundation, we ran the new pipe through, sealed it in and excavated a trench along the side of the house to meet up with the existing connection at the property boundary.
