How much does interlock cost in Ottawa?
Interlock on its' own costs between $5 and $18 per square foot. Expect a quality company who builds interlock and hardscape projects to industry standards (ICPI - Interlocking Concrete Paver Institute), has at least a 3-5 year warranty and uses geogrid in all applications to charge between $18 to $30 per square foot for installation.
How much does it cost to fix/repair interlock?
The cost to fix or repair a interlock installation varies between $10 to $15 per square foot. If your installation has developed low spots or is sinking uniformly, this is a sign of improper compaction and soil remediation at the time of installation. There are several options - cosmetically fix the installation or rebuild the structure as it should have been built the first time.
How do I remove efflorescence from my interlock?
Efflorescence being a natural biproduct of the manufacturing process of interlocking concrete pavers means that it will also naturally go away. Given enough water cycles of wet/dry, the concrete paver will bring to the surface the deposits on its own. Alternatively, products such as Alliance Gator Efflorescence Cleaner can be used if absolutely necessary to remove the deposits immediately.
