Why did you choose the floor finishes you use?

The finishes I use produce the most beautiful, lasting results available, without all the toxic chemicals contained in most other finishes. I'm concerned about my health, the health of my customers, and the environment.

Why dustless sanding?

Anyone who has experienced the pollution created by conventional hardwood sanding knows the answer to this question. Dustless sanding provides a healthy, clean, efficient and revolutionary alternative for home and property owners.

How bad will the smell and fumes be?

The water based products we use have hardly any smell to them at all. If you are getting your floor stained then there will be a little bit of smell but no worse than the smell of paint.

What is different about the Oneida Vac System? Why is it better than a standard bag system?

Bags systems are very dirty and clog quickly. After 10 minutes of sanding they restrict air flow that cleans the drum or belt leaving material on the floor and in the air. The Oneida system avoids this pitfall altogether by separating the dust from the air with an onboard hi-efficiency cyclone.

When is it safe to move furniture back in?

Bona water based finishes will take the least amount of time to cure and will help you get your house back in order sooner, depending on humidity conditions, usually the next day would be fine and area rugs will have to wait one week (7 days).
