My AC is frozen what should I do?
Never run the AC when it is frozen. Turn it off, make sure there is nothing restricting the airflow (filter plugged) wait for it to thaw, and have a professional come out to diagnose why it is freezing up.
Should the fan run all the time or be on auto?
It is recommended that the fan run all of the time to keep more consistent temperature throughout the home. In new equipment the fans are designed to run all of the time and the fan speed will automatically drop when not heating or cooling.
How can I fix inconsistent temperatures throughout the house?
We recommend installing modulating or variable capacity equipment. This equipment always adjusts itself to the demand of the temperature outside and will give you a more consistent temperature throughout the home.

The biggest advantage of having a smart thermostat is that when you are not home and there is an issue, it will notify you and depending on what smart thermostat you have it can even notify your dealer, and thus greatly reducing the risk of property damage.
