Your peace of mind is important to us. We usually only charge upfront for material costs. If it's a multi stage project then we settle up as progress continues on work we've already performed. That way everyone feels better.

Our trip fee is $150 plus materials. Many jobs can be completed with just the trip fee! Clearing a toilet line is likely just the trip fee. Replacing a toilet that's covered in sewage that needs a wet/dry vac and stops short of needing a HazMat suit, would be significantly more, depending on the conditions. For more involved projects, we charge by the job starting with a database of National averages. If the project has additional challenges then we address those as required. That way we can assure that we're giving a fair price for the work performed.

We'd expect you to fire us! You're the boss. We don't smoke or drink at work. We wear uniforms and strive to be 100% professional, 100% of the time. If at any time we don't meet your expectations, we can even just pro-rate the work already performed and part ways with no hard feelings.

It's understandable you want to keep outside footwear out of your home. It's kind of gross. That's why we wear booties and if it's a larger project we'll even buy a new pair of shoes specifically used only in your home. After project completion, they're donated to charity. Along with all other personal protective equipment, all Handymen and contractors are actually required by us to wear footwear for their safety.
