What is Hardscape? Hardscape of hardscaping refers to the non-living elements of your yard or garden. Another way to look at it is that if something needs to be installed, or built, then it’s considered hardscape. And that’s what we do. In a lot of cases the process begins with excavation of an area for the pre-construction phase. Once the land is prepped for the construction phase, then we start to build from the ground up. This can include digging a trench to run utilities to an outdoor kitchen, for example. Once the foundational tasks are complete then we start with the chosen structure for installation or the build out. After we’ve completed the build, then we bring in a local company to plant the living elements into the hardscape.
