Can I seal K2 Stone?

It is not required to seal K2 Stone. If you wish to do so we can provide you with samples to test stone sealing / enhancing products that can be found at your local building material supplier. We do recommend sealing custom mantels and hearths to protect against stains such as red wine

How does K2 Stone withstand freeze / thaw cycles?

K2 Stone has low absorbtion and high density which provides a high resistance to freeze / thaw cycles. K2 Stone is up to 300 times stronger than manufactured stone products.

How important is a good stone installation?

As with any building material, the beauty of K2 Stone is greatly enhanced by a professional installation. Choosing the right stone profile and grouting technique will ensure an impressive finish.
