Best Retaining Wall Contractors in Halifax, NS

Retaining walls are a necessary part of construction for any home or commercial building when the threat of erosion and soil displacement is a potential natural occurrence with any sloped land surface. A retaining wall is a perfect solution for keeping your soil where you want it be, instead of sliding into areas you don’t want soil to claim. They can come in all sorts of designs, shapes and sizes. And can be constructed from a variety of material, from simple stone or boulder walls, sometimes referred to as blast rock retaining walls, to formed concrete, brick, steel and more. Many residential retaining walls are found around the boundaries of gardens to hold soil back, and as well in gardens, as raised beds, offering a pleasing aesthetic, as well as functionality with multiple uses such as benched seating areas throughout your outdoor space. Gravity retaining walls are structures best suited for containing larger amounts of soil onto a slope that it would not naturally keep to (i.e., a steep, vertical slope or near-vertical slope). They are one of the best solutions to bound soils between two different elevations. Now it the time of year to book your retaining wall quote.
