Roofing Projects - Trust only the pro's at Tops Roofing Company to get it done right! Due to high levels of roof attic moisture, the roof rafters / roof trusses, had cupped and sank. This was caused by the previous inexperienced roofing contractor blocking up the soffit/eaves areas with pink batt insulation as shown in the photo. The same roofer also incorrectly attempted to level the roof rafters with short pieces of 2 x 4 - see photo. Tops Roofing Company correctly leveled the rafters by sistering new 2 x 6 from peak to eaves, removing insulation batts, and re sheeting with new spruce plywood before installing Ice and water shield at eaves, a complete synthetic underlay over the entire, roof deck, and new GAF 50 year Timberline fiberglass laminate shingles. The roof was completed with a GAF Snow Country ridge venting system, that now allowed correct and continuous attic air exchange, keeping the new roofing and attic space moisture free and dry.
