Many people don't know this about me but I started my career as an Environmental Engineer. ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ For over 12 years I worked with a team of experts to make sure billion-dollar infrastructure projects would have a minimal impact on the environment. ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ Working in an organization with over 10,000 employees (and a lot of red tape) gifted me with the ability to turn problems into out-of-the-box solutions. ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ My biggest takeaway is that proactive planning, clear communication, and regularly tracking progress will make or break any project. ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ Fast forward to five years into running this design firm and the same principles still apply.
