Do you need plumbing and drainage cover?

Do you need plumbing for a condenser dryer?

What is sump pump airlock?

The most common reason for a sump pump to shake and vibrate or for a failure in the pump is due to pump air-lock. When the sump pumps turns off, the water in the discharge line between the pump and the check valve drains back into the sump. If the pipe between the pump and check valve does not have a drain hole, the air will compress when the sump pump is being drained. This prevents water from leaving the pump thus causing problems.

I arrived onsite at the customer's home in Cumberland to diagnose their no water issue. Upon testing & diagnostic the existing well pump needs to be replaced. I supplied & installed a new 230v, 4 wire, 3/4 hp submersible well pump, including new piping and wiring within the well which was 184 feet deep. Also includes replacing the low water cutoff pressure switch. I also replaced the pressure switch and control box and activated the well pump before dropping down the well and it works. I dropped the pump down the well and connected it to the existing pitless adapter. I checked the large 40 gal WMO-180 well mate Fiberglass pressure tank and the balloon inside the tank is broken. So I temporarily added the required air pressure to the bladder tank making it into a old style steel type tank with no balloon so that I can operate the pump properly and it’ll give the client time to change out his pressure tank as he originally installed it 12 yrs ago. The pressure must be replaced soon as this may affect the performance of the new well pump or worse. What I did will last at least 6months before it will need more air. I set the pressure in the pressure tank to 37 psi and the pressure switch to 40 psi on and 60 psi off. The existing pressure gauge is malfunctioning so I replaced that too.
