Is it gone?

Homes affected by attic rain have ongoing moisture issues in the attic. The issue may only become visible to a homeowner when water starts dripping or stains form on the living space side. It is important to note that moisture damage occurs in the attic several times a winter whether you see it or not. The effects are cumulative, causing mold, structural rot, and damage to insulation, which ultimately increases heating costs and reduces comfort.

Will topping up my insulation help with attic rain issues?

More insulation is always nice to have, but it will not fix attic rain. Adding insulation will only temporarily cover the problem. Doing this adds to the cost of proper repair when the attic rain returns. Attic Rain Specialists will be happy to provide you with a Free Quote.

Is attic rain covered by my insurance?

Generally, attic rain is not covered by insurance at this time. In certain cases, we have seen where insurance stepped in, they typically only covered the cost of a small part of the needed repairs.

Is attic rain the responsibility of my condo board?

You should consult with your condo board about any attic rain issues. You can pass along your condo board contact information to us and we are happy to reach out to them to see if there have been issues with other units.
