Featured

Fixed up this paver patio in a strata complex that was incorrectly built first time around. Too much sand was used with no gravel to support it. This created a dangerous and unsightly dip running along the entire middle section of the patio. It was so bad that it was entirely unusable and was a major tripping hazard. All of the sand was removed and it was replaced with compacted road base gravel along with 1/2" clear crush gravel to act in place of the sand. The patio was also sloped correctly this time allowing proper drainage away from the house rather than towards it. A channel drain or a California drain was also put in and routed into the existing perimeter drain so further mitigate any pooling that may occur at the far end of the patio. The owner was more than happy with the results is looking forward to finally enjoying their patio after years.
