The only splits I will be attempting this year! 😂 Splitting Ornamental Grass is so easy and very satisfying. Even if you are a beginner gardener, you can do this 💪🏼🌾Four things I forgot to mention: n1. I did halves but you could also do quarters. Make sure you are leaving enough growth in the center of each chunk so it will grow (don’t go too small!) n2. Transplanting is so easy, you don’t even have to dig them into the ground if you don’t have time, just put them in a new spot and they will grow as is. Of course it doesn’t hurt to dig them in a couple inches.n3. Pour a big drink of water into the middle of the grass and around the base after transplanting n4. Clean-up by raking out any dirt that got on your lawn like I did, or use a tarp underneath the grass while splitting to keep things tidy.n.nWhat other garden tutorials would you like to see?
