What type of projects do you take on?
Green Apple Landscaping takes on only complete makeover projects of a backyard, front yard, or full property. We have a design + build model specializing in gardens of a modern style. We also have a speciality consulting, designing, obtaining permits, and installing front yard parking pads in the City of Toronto.
What is the process of landscaping my property?
We begin with a design consultation at your home with our landscape designer. The cost is $250 plus HST. At the end of the design consultation, you can choose to proceed with a landscape design or you can get back to us later. If you proceed with the landscape design contract at the design consultation meeting, the design consultation is free. Our designer will stay longer and measure the site, take elevation grades and pictures. 3-6 weeks later, depending on how busy we are at the time, we will present the completed landscape design to you in a zoom meeting. When we have a final approved landscape plan then a final cost estimate can be provided for the installation of the project. After the estimate is approved we will schedule the installation for our construction crew.
What is a design consultation and what is the cost?
A design consultation is an initial meeting at your home with our landscape designer. They will spend the necessary time with you to understand your goals, ideas, and site issues and answer any questions that you might have. Our designer can discuss preliminary design direction and can offer material suggestions. The cost of the initial design consultation is $250 plus HST. If you proceed with a landscape design contract at this first meeting, we waive this fee.
What are your credentials as a landscape designer?
Our landscape designer is a Certified Landscape Designer Our landscape designer is also an award-winning designer having won many Award of Excellence design awards given out by Landscape Ontario. As an organization, Green Apple has won 13 design + build awards.
What does an analysis cost to determine whether your property meets the by-law governing a legal front yard parking pad?
The cost of the analysis is $200 plus HST. If your property does meet the by-laws and you would like to proceed with an application for front yard parking, you will require a landscape plan to be created that meets the by-laws. We offer this design service at an additional fee and it includes coaching throughout the permitting process. We can even build your parking pad once you obtain the permit.
