Should you test for asbestos?

If you plan to repair or demolish a house, one of the first steps you should plan is to test for asbestos. Guru Restoration can help with this! We will take asbestos samples from suspicious materials to an outside laboratory for testing before you start demolition or construction.

How can I prevent water damage?

Proper maintenance and care of your devices can help avoid water problems. Monthly checkups may allow you to notice if something looks wrong. Find out where the water safety valve is to turn off in case of an emergency. Keep an eye on your water bill. A sudden increase in your monthly bill may indicate a pipe leak or other problem. Also, if you notice unpleasant smells or black spots (mold) on the walls, contact a professional immediately.

How much will it cost to solve my problem with basement waterproofing?

The price will depend on the final solution. Standard systems, such as drains and external gravity systems, are priced by the foot. Installing backup pumps, dehumidifiers and other features may also affect the total cost of your work.
