Do you need plumbing for a tumble dryer?

Most tumble driers such as vented or heat pump driers, do require an outlet hose to expel the water after drying. How does a bathtub drain work?

A typical bathtub drain has two legs: one to the main drain opening and the other to the overflow drain opening. To open or close the drain, two different assemblies are available: a plunger-type and a pop-up type.

Why is my toilet leaking from the bottom?

The toilet leaks from the bottom either because the Tee bolts have come loose, or the wax ring that creates a water seal has broken. If the tee bolts have come loosen they need to be tightened properly with a wrench. However, if the wax seal has broken it needs to be replaced.

What is sump pump?

A sump pump is a pump that is usually found in the basement of houses. It is used to remove water that has accumulated in a water-collecting sump basin. If the basement is below the water table level or because of rain or natural ground water, water may enter through the perimeter drains of a basement waterproofing system, channeling into the sump basin.
