FAQs

Q - How long does a build take?

Build times vary depending on the size of the home, but average is approximately 6 months from when framing begins provided all client selections are made prior to commencement.

Q - How do we make an offer?

Whether you have your own realtor or use one of ours, the professionals will be happy to meet with you and guide you through the agreement and any questions you may have.

Q - How do upgrades work?

During the selections process, you may wish to upgrade from standard contract inclusions. Rooftight will obtain quotes for you, and if you choose to go ahead with the upgrade, a change order is added to your file, which credits you for the standard selection and charges you for the upgrade. You only pay the difference.

Q - What is a change order?

A change order is a document that is added to your contract file and forms part of an amendment at the end of the building process. This ensures you have consented to any changes during the build process and provides guidance to the project manager as to what changes you have made. No changes are made to your home without your approval, resulting in a clear, no-surprises building process.
