Without some way to get into your basement this water from the eavestroughs would not be a problem. Eavestroughs can dump a significant amount of water against your foundation causing high levels of hydrostatic pressure. It is wise to direct your downspouts at least 6' from your foundation to minimize hydrostatic pressure.
